Awards and grants

• Every year, £100,000 worth of products are allocated to around 20 schemes as part of B&Q’s You Can Do It Awards – helping members of youth centres, sports clubs and homes for the elderly to carry out projects themselves.
• At a local level, our Better Neighbour Grants allocate B&Q products to community groups, to help with sustainable projects that benefit the local area and don’t harm the environment.
• And, every year, B&Q staff raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity, with a host of activities both in store and in their own time. B&Q’s ‘Match It’ scheme means those fundraising efforts can be doubled with a company donation for approved charities.
