Store Manager

Each of our stores is like a business in miniature. As the Store Manager of one of our smaller stores, you're responsible for how that business performs, for the experience that your customers have - and for the way that your team feels about coming to work in the morning.

A typical Supercentre or Mini-Warehouse covers around 50,000 square feet including the garden centre and has a team of around 30.

It's an exhilarating job, but it's also a demanding one. You need to motivate your team to get the best out of them and to make sure your customers leave with a smile on their face. You also need to take responsibility for your sales and profits - and for liaising with the other parts of the business, with local suppliers, media and anyone else who can affect your store.
