Store Support Office (Head Office)
Our head office is called Store Support Office, because the job of everyone at B&Q, including those at head office, is to support the teams in our stores who deal with our customers.
The Store Support Office is at Chandler's Ford on the outskirts of Southampton on the south coast. The city has excellent shopping, sports and leisure facilities; it's close to the Cathedral cities of Winchester, Salisbury and Chichester, and the open spaces of the New Forest.
Several south coast beaches are within easy reach, as are marinas and lots of other facilities for those who love watersports, riding or mountain biking.
Transport links are superb - we're an hour from London by train or a little more by motorway, there are numerous cross-Channel ferry links available, and Southampton (Eastleigh) airport is a hub for flights around the UK and across Europe.
In the office, there's an informal dress code and subsidised restaurant - and, for those new to the area, the possibility of relocation assistance.
